2. Where can I buy tickets?
Through eTix, as usual. Just go to buddyguy.com and click “eTix.” Tickets are for the evening shows; obviously no tickets are needed for shows that do not have a cover charge. You can also pay the cover charge at the door per usual. 

3. What are your hours of operation during Blues Fest Weekend?

Mostly we’re open normal hours. Differences are in bold:

Sunday 6/08:  12:00pm – 2:00am
Monday 6/09: 5:00pm – 2:00am
Tuesday 6/10: 5:00pm – 2:00am
Wednesday 6/11- 11:00am-2:00am (CLOSED from 5pm-10pm for a private event)
Thursday 6/12- 11:00am-2:00am
Friday 6/13 - 11:00am-2:00am
Saturday 6/14 - 11:00am-3:00am
Sunday 6/10 - 11:00am-2:00am



4. Are there any all-ages shows?
Yes. Any shows before the cover is collected are all-ages, with the exception of XRT’s Bluesfest Broadcast.
All shows after cover charge are 21+. 

5. When will you start collecting the cover charge?
We will start collecting the cover charge no later than 5pm. This time is subject to change at the manager’s discretion. If you are in earlier than 5pm and you wish to stay for the later shows, the door guys will come through the crowd to check ID’s and collect the cover charge.   

6. Is the $20 cover charge good for the whole day/night or is it per show?
The $20 cover charge covers the whole day/night of shows (it is not per show). When you pay the cover charge at the door, you will receive a hand stamp that will allow you to come in and out. 

7. When will brunch be served?
Our annual Blues Fest Brunch is all-ages and will be served on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th from 11:00AM-1:00PM. There is no cover charge for the music, but the buffet is $15. 

8. Can I reserve a table?
We do not accept reservations. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is not guaranteed and tables fill up quickly.

9. What if I have a medical condition and can't stand for long periods of time?
Due to the overwhelming presence of customers, we cannot accommodate every special seating request. We advise that anyone with a medical condition arrive early to get a seat. The club is wheelchair accessible. Additional seating is available upstairs, which is accessible by elevator or stairs.

10. Can I save a table for my friends if I get there earlier?
With the amount of people we're expecting, it is not possible to save seats for people who are not here.

11. If I leave, can I come back in?
Yes. Get a hand stamp if you’ve already paid the cover.

12. How long does the kitchen stay open?
The kitchen is open until midnight every night.

13. Can I bring a camera?
Photographs are permitted, but audio and video recording is strictly prohibited. However, all shows will be streaming live at http://gigity.tv/buddyguyslegends and http://www.gigity.tv/BGbluesfest

15. Do you have parking?
We do not have parking for patrons, however there are "Pay to Park" spots located on the surrounding streets and multiple parking garages located within blocks of the club.  

16. Where are you located?
700 S. Wabash, on the SW corner of Balbo and Wabash.

17. Where is the nearest CTA train stop?
Red line - Harrison stop. Brown/Purple line - Library stop. Brown/Orange/Green Line - Roosevelt stop.

 
Can I reserve a table for dinner and a performance?
Legends does not accept reservations. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and we recommend arriving early!
On a weeknight, tables usually fill up between 7:30-8PM.
On a Friday or Saturday, tables can fill up as early as 6-7PM.

Where can I buy tickets to attend the show?
You can simply pay the cover charge at the door the night of the show. The cover charge is $10 Sunday-Thursday and $20 on Fridays and Saturdays (excluding special events. Subject to change).

If I purchase tickets online in advance and I’ve selected Will Call, can I pick them up early?
No. If you purchase tickets through Etix and you select Will Call, your name will be added to a list. When you give your name to the door guys upon arrival, they will check your name off the list and stamp your hand. There are no physical tickets that can be picked up ahead of time.

Can I still pay the cover charge at the door if I don’t want to buy tickets online?
Yes, you can still simply pay the cover charge at the door. Buying tickets in advance and paying the cover charge is the same thing. Buying tickets in advance just guarantees that you will be able to get in the door.

How much is the cover charge?
$10 Sunday-Thursday;
$20 Friday-Saturday;
Prices are subject to change.

When does Buddy play at the club?
Buddy performs in the club every January.

Does Legends have a coat check?
Legends does not offer coat check.

Is parking available?
We do not have parking for patrons, however there are “Pay to Park” spots located on the surrounding streets and multiple parking garages located within blocks of the club.

How can I purchase Legends merchandise?
To order online, please visit our Shop. You can also visit the merchandise booth located next to the club’s entrance.  If you would like to order merchandise over the phone, we can ship via UPS to your location; please call 312-427-1190. Shipping fees apply.

I have a band and we are interested in playing at Legends. Who do I contact?
As a Blues club, Legends only books Blues artists. If you are interested in performing on our stage, please contact Mark Maddox at mmaddox@buddyguy.com.

We also have a weekly Monday night Blues jam at 9:00PM; if you plan on attending, you must bring your own instrument. See next FAQ for more info.


Do you have an open mic night at Legends?
We host an open Blues jam every Monday night at 9:00PM. You can come in to sign up any time before 9:00PM on Monday. If you sign up to play, you get in free of charge and you also get a guest in for half off ($5). The host band will play for about an hour and then they will begin inviting other musicians up on stage. We ask that you bring your own instrument/drumsticks.

How do I book Legends for my event?

Did Legends move to a new location?
Yes! The original club was at the corner of Wabash and 8th Street, but in June of 2010, we moved one block up the street to 700 S. Wabash, the corner of Wabash and Balbo.

 
Does Buddy Guy hang out at Legends?
If Buddy is in town, he can normally be spotted at the bar.

When does Buddy play at the club?
Buddy performs in the club every January – He plays about 16 shows throughout the month and they sell out quickly!

How can I book Buddy to play at my event/venue?
